JYJ’s Kim Junsu (XIA)’s signature ‘Genie Time’ segment has become a hot topic.

‘Genie Time’ is an event that Kim Junsu created to grant any wish that fans may have during his concerts, and the singer has granted a total of 70 wishes since he began starting the event last year during his world tour.

A representative of C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Genie Time is an event that Kim Junsu created for his solo concerts and is a corner that grants three wishes that fans have. With his Asia tour coming to an end, many are excited to see what Kim Junsu will do for his last Genie Time sessions.”

Through Genie Time, Kim Junsu has done everything from sexy dances, the Gyiyomi song, and writing his name with his butt to singing ‘Greatest Love of All’, ‘Love that Autumn Left Behind’ and ‘The Wind is Blowing’ without an instrumental. Last year, he took a stab at samba dancing during his Brazil performance and spoke in the Busan dialect during his Busan concert.

Fans gained experience from last year’s world tour and even brought lyrics with them when requesting songs, sharing opinions and ideas for future wishes. On the 16th, wishes for Genie Time were discussed on various social networking systems, making the event a festival that everyone could enjoy together.

A representative of the concert stated, “Watching Kim Junsu do his best with whatever was requested, we could feel his sincerity. He would sing and talk about things that fans wanted and took time out of his concert to properly connect with them.”

Fans showed their affection for Genie Time as they left comments such as, “Let’s do a survey to see what we should ask Kim Junsu during his last Genie Time event”, “He just has us in the palm of his hand, doesn’t he? I’m so happy!” and “A concert without Genie Time is like bread without butter.”

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu will be holding the last concert of his ‘XIA 2nd Asia Tour in Japan’ on the 16th at the Yokohama Arena.
